Vanessa Porges
Vanessa was born in Venezuela into a lineage deeply rooted in holistic medicine and alternative health practices. From an early age, she was immersed in an environment where wellness and cures were provided by nature. Her great-grandfather, a pioneering figure in holistic medicine, laid the foundation for a family legacy of natural healing. This legacy was carried forward by her grandfather and mother, both of whom were dedicated to integrating holistic methods into everyday health practices. Vanessa’s upbringing was enriched by this unique heritage, which she describes as an “amazing generational gift.”
Vanessa completed her masters in New Jersey with a heavy concentration on alternative methods to mental illness, and behavioral issues in both children and adults. In 2015, she move to Florida to be closer to family and enjoy the South Florida life surrounded by beautiful beaches, limitless outdoor activities, and to be in touch with nature.
Vanessa’s extensive experience in healthcare has been characterized by her commitment to exploring and advocating for alternative approaches to psychoactive drugs. She recognizes the potential of these methods in addressing various mental health and wellness issues and is dedicated to finding and promoting treatments that align with her holistic principles.
Vanessa’s work reflects a deep-seated passion for continuing her family’s legacy of holistic medicine while advancing the field with innovative ideas. Her vision for the future of healthcare includes a greater acceptance of alternative methods as viable options for mental health and overall wellness. She aspires to foster a healthcare system that values and incorporates diverse treatment modalities, ensuring that patients have access to a broad spectrum of healing approaches.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Vanessa enjoys working out, cooking, and spending time in nature. One of her passions is photography, and creating memories with the people she loves. Vanessa enjoys having a balanced life, and working toward a stronger self physically, spiritually and mentally. She also hopes to continue this legacy with her two children who have learned at a very early age the value of taking care of one’s health.
